Hiya, welcome to LAZY GIRL CLUB’s FAQ page. Hopefully all your questions can be answered here, but if there are still some left unanswered, then please send me an email on the ‘contact us’ page and I will respond as soon as I can. Please note that this is a very busy biz ran by one gal so it may take a few days for me to respond to your email. 


Sizing

What sizes do you stock?

Dresses range from S-5XL (this equates to roughly UK sizes 6-30).

Smock dresses are made to the size of the t-shirt so if you order a size small, it’s made using a size small t-shirt.

There’s a size guide on each product. Check out the measurements, measure yourself across the chest and find the size that is the best fit for you.

The dresses do tend to be oversized so we recommend sizing down for a more fitted look. Whatever size t-shirt fits you comfortably across the chest is the size we’d recommend for you.

For the premades, each item will have a chest and length measurement. The chest measurement is the width from armpit to armpit on both sizes and the length is the full length of the dress. We recommend to check out the measurements on each dress as they can differ.

If you send in a t-shirt to be turned into a dress, the size of the t-shirt is the size of the dress so if you send in a large t-shirt, then your dress will be a size large!


How long will my order take?

As everything is made to order, orders can take up to 30 working days to make (our working days are Monday-Friday and don’t include public or bank holidays). Shipping time is also separate from this.

If you need your item making for a certain date, there is a ‘rush order’ option on the website that is available to purchase. Please contact us first before ordering the rush order add on as it may not be possible to get your order out to you for the time you need but 9/10 times we can do it.

I hand make every single item myself so please refrain from emailing for updates on your order as it takes time away from making your order. By placing your order, you’ve agreed that you’re happy to wait the full 30 working days for your order to be made. I will always aim to send items out sooner but I cannot guarantee it.

Once your item is ready to ship, you’ll receive an email with tracking info (please check your junk folder as they sometimes end up there!) UK orders are sent tracked 48 and international orders are sent tracked and sometimes signed for (depending on the country).


Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide!

We are a UK based business so please note that any customs charges, tariffs, taxes, EU fees etc are to be covered by the buyer.

We are not responsible for any fees once your order has left us so please make sure that you are happy to accept this responsibility before ordering.

If a parcel is returned to us due to you refusing to pay any fee, you will not receive a refund for your postage as this has already been paid for. Please also note that as items are made to order, we cannot offer a refund for your items either. If your order is returned to us, you will receive store credit for the amount of your order minus postage costs.


Can I make changes to my order?

You can make changes to your order within 24 hours of it being placed. Any changes made after this time may incur a fee as materials may have been ordered or your item may have already started being made.

To make any changes to your order, please email us ASAP with your order number and the changes you wish to make to hello@lazygirl.club

Please note that once your order has been placed, we cannot cancel or refund any orders. Please make sure that you are happy to purchase your item and are happy with the costs & any shipping costs that you may have to cover before you buy.


“My item doesn’t fit, what can I do?”

There are a few different options! Please see below:


Exchanges:

You can exchange your item(s) for store credit for up to 7 days after you have received it. Items must be sent back in the same condition you received them and in the original packaging. We can refuse to exchange an item that has been worn (except for trying on), washed or had its tags removed. All item(s) will be inspected upon return before the store credit can be sent to you.

Fill out the ‘exchange my item’ form on the website and you will receive an email shortly with the return address.

Please note that items such as headbands and scrunchies cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons.


Alterations:

This option is available for any item(s) you have purchased from us, no matter how long ago.

There’s two different types of alterations:

Small alteration - for small changes such as changing the sleeve type or amending the length of the skirt

Large alteration - for larger alterations such as changing the size of the dress or changing the fabric or fabric style (like changing from half & half to scrappy etc)

Search ‘alteration’ on the website to find both of these. If you’re unsure which alteration you need, send us an email!

Please note: the buyer is responsible for any shipping fees to return items back to us and the store credit is for the amount of the item(s) you purchased and doesn’t include the original shipping fee.

We recommend sending the parcel to us tracked and we aren’t responsible for any lost parcels.


Send in your t-shirt

Fill in all the required info, and once the order has gone through, you will receive an email shortly with the address for you to send the t-shirt to. We recommend sending your t-shirt tracked and we aren’t responsible for any lost parcels.

Once your t-shirt has arrived in our studio, you’ll receive an email to confirm and the 30 working day processing time starts from then.

As the t-shirts need to be cropped to be turned into a dress, please note that some text or imagery may have to be cut off so please make sure that you are happy with this before you purchase.
